On 20 April 2026, SIES, the Center for European Studies of the Shanghai
Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), and the German Studies Center of
Tongji University jointly organized the symposium “New Developments in European
Defence Integration” and the launch of an SIIS Innovation Report at SIIS.
